To the Vox Pop Department of Financial Responsibility: Who paid for the new walking bridge over Excelsior Road and how much did it cost? I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell them.
(The Vox Pop Department of Financial Responsibility answers: Please look in the mirror.)
Random act of kindness
I'd like to thank my fellow Caribou Coffee drinker, a complete stranger to me who, just this morning (Friday), bought my coffee for me. When I got up to the counter and ordered, I couldn't find my check card and had no cash. I had to forfeit my order. Then, this wonderfully kind stranger proceeded to tell me "not to worry" and she would 'take care of it' and that 'we all need our morning beverage.' It was a true act of random kindness and I will definitely pay it forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
(Vox Pop Department of Financial Responsibility: Maybe this person could pay for the walking bridge.)
Experts got us into trouble
Does anyone see the correlation between the bailout and the school district? Self-professed experts are trying to hurry votes to get their way. If people don't agree with them, they're considered uninformed and ignorant. Then those who vote are hurriedly doing so on blind faith. Those voted in office aren't representing the people who voted them in because they aren't listening to the people. Maybe the people who don't have a lot of debt and work within the system do know something the so-called experts don't. After all, it's the experts that helped get us into trouble.
Humpty Dumpty had a big fall
Now that Humpty Dumpty has fallen off Wall Street (meaning Humpty Dumpty is the credit), are they expecting the taxpayers to put Humpty Dumpty back together again or are they expecting the middle class to pay the burden for the CEOs with the golden parachutes? Who's going to pay the $700 billion dollars?
