David M. Owen

PEQUOT LAKES - David Martin Owen, age 65, resident of Pequot Lakes, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at his home. David was born on Aug. 16, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Elias and Emma Sue (Hill) Owen.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; brother, Jerry Owen; grandchildren, Lindsey Hejhal and Shane Owen; mother and father-in-law, Helen and Graiden Miller, of Pillager.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stacy Owen; father, Elias Owen; and mother, Emma Owen; brother, Daniel Kirk Owen.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with the Rev. Kristin Oltmann officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
