Oct. 12 last date to register in advance for Nov. 2 election

Crow Wing County Auditor Roy Luukkonen reminded voters Oct. 12 is the last day for residents who have not registered to vote or who have changed residences since the last election to register in advance for the Nov. 2 general election.

Interested people may pre-register by going to the auditor's office on the second floor of the county courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Those who do not register by 5 p.m. Oct. 12 may register at the polls on election day but must furnish proof of residence.
