LITTLE FALLS -- The Little Falls Flyers volleyball team lost to Central Minnesota Conference opponent Sartell 15-12, 15-13, 16-14 Tuesday in girls' volleyball.

The Flyers' Rachel Davich was 25-25 setting with four set assists. She was 18-18 serving with two aces and 9-10 hitting with six kills.

Erin Mrozek had 10 blocks to lead Little Falls.

PEQUOT LAKES -- The Bertha-Hewitt Bears defeated the Pequot Lakes Patriots 14-16, 15-10, 15-7, 15-6.

The Patriots were led by Joan Ebnet who finished with 11-13 serving, one ace, 14 kills, 12 digs, and one block. Jackie Heslop was 18-19 serving with four aces, and 25 set assists. Julie Redebaugh was 14-17 serving with four aces 14 kills, 10 digs and three blocks.

PILLAGER --The Pillager Huskies downed the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 15-12, 15-7, 15-5 in a non-conference volleyball match Tuesday.

Anna Sebasky was 3-4 serving with one ace serve for the Huskies and teammate Tanya Lauer was 11-12 serving with one ace serve.

Nicole Carlson finished with eight kills and one ace tip. She also had two ace serves with her 9-12 serving.

Kayla Bell was 11-14 serving with three aces, three ace tips and 10 set assists.

AITKIN -- The Braham Bombers outlasted the Aitkin Gobblers 15-6, 4-15, 15-1, 13-15, 15-9 in Great River Conference action on Tuesday.

Carrie Cummings of Aitkin was 6-8 serving with one ace serve, 11 kills and two blocks. Abbey Olson was 10-12 serving with one ace serve and 20 kills for the Gobblers. Jennifer Straughn had 25 kills and five solo blocks to add to her 10-12 serving and two aces.

SEBEKA --The Sebeka Trojans defeated the Verndale Pirates 15-7, 15-5, 15-4 in a Park Region Conference volleyball on Tuesday.

Jill Trosen was 4-5 serving with 24 set assists and four digs for the Pirates and Melissa Stave was 8-8 serving with two ace serves, two kills and five digs.

Kayla White had 19 set assists and three kills. She was also 8-9 serving with one ace.

Pine River was led by Whitney Rollins who was 16-16 serving with two aces, one block, and 28 set assists.

Sarah Laposky had 13 kills and two blocks to add to her 12-13 serving and three aces.

Meg Tabaka had eight kills, four blocks and was 17-18 serving with three aces.
