PEQUOT LAKES - Megan Lenz and Angela Villella won singles matches to help the Pequot Lakes Patriots finish the regular season with a 5-2 defeat of the Little Falls Flyers on Thursday.
Villella finished the season with an individual record of 24-3. Lenz has the team's second-best record at 24-3.
The top-seeded Patriots begin their playoff push Monday as they host Pine City.

CROSBY - The Crosby-Ironton Rangers won all three doubles matches but fell short as they were swept in singles matches by Duluth Marshall in Subsection 1, Section 7-1A team tournament Thursday.
Despite the Rangers being finished in team competition, C-I's Alice Bertram and Savanah Fore will compete in the singles tournament while Hanna Christenson teams up with Kaitlyn Risnes and Kayla Minarich with Heather Robinson for the doubles tournament Wednesday.

LITTLE FALLS - In a continuation of a dual meet postponed by rain Sept. 23, the Flyers won all four singles matches.
Nos. 1 and 4 singles finished rain-shortened matches. At No. 1, Sara Peterson opened a 3-1 third-set lead and won 6-1. Jenae Anderson, at No. 4, started 4-4 in the second set, held on in a tie-break and won in three sets.
