LONG PRAIRIE -- The Pierz Pioneers' volleyball team was defeated 15-4, 15-10, 15-5 by the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder Monday.

Tracy Bell and Shari Waytashek led the Pioneers in serving, with each going 11-13. Bell also had one ace serve, three kills, 10 set assists, and 10 digs. Waytashek added two ace serves, three kills, and 13 digs.

"We just didn't pass well tonight and we missed to many serves," said Pierz coach Sheryl Wesenberg.
