KLIZ AM-FM, Brainerd's oldest radio station has been sold and will eventually move from its East Oak Street, said Bob Ramsdorff, station manager. The station, founded 42 years ago, was sold to Robert Ingstad of Valley City, N.D.

A fishing boat sank in Gull Lake after it was struck broadside by a 20-foot Century inboard moving at "full plane." The 12-foot fishing boat, which was stationary, had two occupants who were thrown clear. There was considerable property loss.

Attorney General Doug Head said that an apparent constitutional block to a Brainerd bypass can be skirted. A 1920 law says Highway 371 must terminate "at Brainerd." The city will have to annex right of way from Baxter to the point of the bypass.

(Adv.) Gull Drive-in Theatre, final night of the season showing "Gone With the Wind," starring Clark Gable. At the Paramount, "Top O' the Morning," starring Bing Crosby. At the Brainerd Theatre, "The Plunderers," with Rod Cameron.

The Salvation Army, which recently purchased the building formerly housing George Bell's saloon, will open it tonight. After its dedication meetings will be held and public is invited.
