Marissa Brown and Gene Engisch were married Aug. 14, 2004, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Seamus Walsh officiating.
Parents are Teri Brown, Verndale, and Bob Brown, Motley, and Rudy and Brenda Engisch, Brainerd, and Chris and Betty Reil, Brainerd.
The bride's attendants were Trista Brown, Janna Merten and Danielle Pearson. Flower girl was Jordan Goddard.

The groom's attendants were Dmitri Morris, Brett Bentler and Nate Alderman. Ring bearer was Brandt Norwood. Ushers were Aaron Stegner and Tommy Eiesland.
A reception was on North Long Lake in Merrifield.
The bride graduated from Staples-Motley High School and Central Lakes College in Brainerd. The bride is employed at Cragun's Resort.
The groom graduated from Brainerd High School and took a PCDI electrical course. He is employed at Engisch Electric.
The couple is at home in Brainerd.
