It's shameful that the county administrator only knows how to read job applications, but not check the history that goes with them. The board chairman rubber stamps it, knowing better. Only one commissioner had the courage to speak up in opposition -- a faulty decision which will cost all the taxpayers a bundle.

The city of Baxter has a great opportunity to hire a qualified candidate that knows the area and the people. I hope they hire a local candidate.
