Richard 'Dick' Harrington

PEQUOT LAKES -- Richard "Dick" Harrington, age 82, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at the Greater Staples Hospital.

He was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Homebrook Township, Minn., to Willard and Louisa (Miller) Harrington.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Ronald (Kathy) of Pillager, Randy (Carol) of Pequot Lakes; daughters, Connie Swift (John) of Cross Plains, Texas, Barbara Harrington (Greg May) of Ham Lake, Minn.; sisters, Laverne Somerville of Pequot Lakes, Shirley Bengston of Pine River; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wesley and Clyde; and sisters, Gladys and Charlotte.

Services will be 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at Pleasant Hill Community Church, rural Pequot Lakes, with Pastor James Brunko officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River and one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
