The military often say that they need a "few god men." Well, Kinship Partners needs a "few good men," too. We have a number of boys on the waiting list who would enjoy having a "good man" with whom to spend some quality time.
One such boy is this week's "Child in Need." Trevor is a 12-year-old who lives in Brainerd with his mother, a brother, and a sister. He rarely sees his father because he does not live in the area. Trevor is in sixth grade and his favorite subjects are gym and math. He enjoys BMX, motorcross, auto racing, football, all types of lake activities, and playing the guitar. Auto mechanics is something he would like to learn about. Trevor describes himself as active, and shy. His mother says, "Trevor is friendly, ambitious and can be moody." She would like him to have a partner who will spend one-on-one time with him. Trevor says he wants a partner who is nice, who likes motorbikes, four-wheelers and who would be his friend.
So, if you're a gentleman, or a couple, who enjoys motorized activities and would like to share these good times with an energetic young man, we've got just the right partner for you. Trevor is waiting for someone to have fun with. Please give Kinship Partners a call at 829-4606 in Brainerd, kinship@brainerd.net; or outside the Brained area at 1-877-730-5437. Kinship Partners encourages you to "Be a Friend...Be a Mentor." You will make a difference in a child's life and yours will be enriched also.
