ISLE -- Sheila Ann Anderson, 55, Isle, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at St. Cloud Hospital.
She was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Cloquet to Earl and Frances (Goodman) Sam. She attended Bob Jones Academy in Greenville, S.C., and then went to school at Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kan. She lived in Minneapolis from 1970 until retiring to Isle in 1979. She married Gary Anderson on Sept. 25, 1982, in Isle. She was a member of the Isle Baptist Church and the Isle VFW Auxiliary Post No. 2816.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Berger, Superior, Wis., and Frank Berger, Cromwell; four daughters, Michele Berger, Isle, Frances Maxwell, Tacoma, Wash., Michelle Pagel, Minnetonka, and Amy Debra Jo Marcus, Palm Coast, Fla.; a brother, Roy Sam, Isle; six sisters, Regina Sam-Reese, Minneapolis, Myrtle Homesky, Isle, Sami Thomas, Minneapolis, Mollie Big Bear, Wahkon, Pauline Sam, St. Paul, and Barbara Jo Hodges, Isle.
Her husband, parents, a sister, Phyllis Sam, and two brothers, Eugene and Calvin Sam, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Isle Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Salmela officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery near Isle.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Sheila Anderson residence and from 10 a.m. until services Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Onamia.
