Initiative Foundation gets $1 million boost

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded Minnesota $1.9 million to assist two nonprofit organizations that help low-income residents.

The funds are earmarked for Initiative Foundation in Little Falls, which will get $1 million, and the Northland Foundation in Duluth, which will get nearly $900,000.
