BAXTER -- The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in a home about 6:05 p.m. Sunday at 4220 Cedardale Road.

The smoke came from burning items on the stove. There was no damage to the house other than smoke. No one was injured.

to false alarm

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a false alarm at Central Lakes College about 12:57 p.m. Sunday.

The alarm was set off by workers at the college.

to accident site

Brainerd Fire Department assisted at an accident with injuries about 9:04 a.m. today near the junction of Highway 25 and Crow Wing County Road 117. No further information on the accident was available from the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department this morning.
