Candace Prigge, Byrne Hildebrand and Janice and Tom DuBois shot a 31 to win the scramble Sept. 15 during the Grand View Lodge Co-ed Outing at Deacon's Lodge.
Four teams tied for second with 35s. They were: Marian Duffy, Linda Gronholz, Bob Terry and Naomi Jobes, Cindy and Reggie Clow with Marilyn & Dick Sobiech, Jack and Joan McBrien with Donna and Jerry Clerney, and the team of Cheryl and Tom Stansfield with Bob and Sherri Adams.
There was a four-way tie for third between the teams of Dave and Kathy Keeling with Don and Clarise Skalman, Joyce Grant, Bill Hoff, Bob and Sue House, Barb Wenschlag, Steve Bruch, Jon and Sue Marsolais and the team of JoEllen Einerwold, Dan Reeck, Pam Boyd, Molly Dox and Kari Dayton.
Sherrie Adams had a chip-in and was closest to the pin along with Bill Hoff. Tom DuBois and Pam Jager sank the longest putts.
Senior tour final
Glen Hasselberg of Staples tied for 22nd during the MGA senior tour finals Sept. 24 at the Wayzata Country Club.
Other Northern Division players competing in the senior finals were Wayne Caughey (Perham), who tied for second, Dana Flinck (Eagle Ridge) eighth, Thomas Peterka (Wapicada) 11th and Terry McGee (Wapicada) 18th, John Reedy (Headwaters) 28th, Harry Hexum (Headwaters) 31st and Roger Rutt (Breezy Point) 32nd.
In the Master Division (age 65 and older), Pine River's Paul Schmidt tied for 20th.
John Lieser (Territory) tied for third, John Stafney (Blackberry Ridge) placed seventh, John Silliman (U of M Les Bolstad) finished tied for 10th, Roy Lommel (Wapicada) tied for 20th, Duane Halvorson (Elk Creek) tied for 23rd with Ed Adrain (Headwaters) and Craig Anderson (Ridgewood) finished 31st.
Tom Pierner, Brainerd, aced the 163-yard, 11th hole at Eagles Landing Sept. 23.
Brandon Myers, Motley, aced the 270-yard 15th hole of Bobby's Course at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's Sept. 24 using a 3-wood.
