Willmar nips Flyers

BELLE PRAIRIE - Grant Bell collected a goal and assist but Little Falls saw its four-game winning streak snapped Tuesday as it lost to Willmar 3-2 in a Central Lakes Conference game.

Casey Schaeffel scored the Flyers' first goal off of a Bell assist to tie the game 1-1, which was the score at halftime.

Despite a Bell goal that tied the game 2-2 in the second half, the Cardinals netted the game-winner in the 67th minute.

Flyers keeper Dan Kornbaum turned away 14 shots.

Fourth Baptist 3, LRCS 2

PLYMOUTH - Patrick Trout had a goal and assist in the second half as the Lake Region Christian School Hornets lost to Fourth Baptist 3-2 Tuesday.

LRCS lost despite having a 19-13 advantage in shots.

Young Kim scored for LRCS in the second half, assisted by Trout. Trout's goal came with an assist from Aaron Bostrom.

Hornets keeper Ryan Christensen had 10 saves.
