FERGUS FALLS - After falling behind two games, the Brainerd Warriors fought back, forcing a Game Five, before surrendering 3-2 to the Fergus Falls Otters in a Central Lakes Conference match-up Tuesday.
"We were a Jekyll and Hyde team tonight," Warriors coach Jared Diem said. "We don't talk, don't communicate - that's one of the basics of volleyball - and it leads to mistakes. We need to have more mental strength on the court and communicate with each other."
Alanna Hansen racked up 30 set assists to lead the Warriors, while Hallsey Olson added 16 digs, Alice Widmark 11 kills, and Sydnie Mauch had five blocks.
