Women's Health Day planned by area medical centers

Central Lakes Medical Center and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center will host Women's Health Day 4:30-8 p.m. Oct. 20 by appointment.

This program is offered as a convenient access to health care for working women. It is meant to offer women preventative care with one appointment.

It includes a pelvic exam, pap smear, breast exam and mammogram performed by physicians. These exams are available at no cost to women who are 40 or older, uninsured or have a co-pay and meet generous income guidelines.

The event is sponsored by Central Lakes Medical Center, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Crow Wing County Health Department, Minnesota Breast and Cervical Cancer Control program and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
