Brainerd defeated Rocori 4-1 and Milaca 5-0 at Great River Bowl in Sartell Saturday.
Against Rocori, Zach Hewitt, Samantha Holmes and Will Bassett led Brainerd with 100-, 87- and 84-percent fills.
Bassett, Kevin Lechner and Derek Maier led Brainerd against Milaca with 100-, 83- and 81-percent fills.
After three weeks Brainerd is leading the conference.
Brainerd travels to Great River Bowl Saturday to face Sartell and a position round.
Nisswa biathletes compete
Three Nisswa NW Biathletes participated in the 10-kilometer roller ski biathlon race at Elk River Sunday.
In the Youth Men's age 17-18 class, in fifth place was Zean Baker, 15, Nisswa, with 13 misses in 41:30. In sixth place was Ty Hadrits, 14, Brainerd, with 13 misses in 44:27.
In the Youth Women's age 17-18 class, Jenna Ruzich, 16, Baxter, was third with 12 misses in 45:44.
The next competition will be the Fall Festival at Elk River Oct. 24-25.
Aces fall
The Minnesota Flying Aces out of of the Minnesota Junior Hockey Leaague fell to the Wisconsin Mustangs 8-2 Sunday.
Josh Provo scored twice for the Aces out of Little Falls.
JV tennis competes
The Brainerd Warriors junior varsity tennis team played the Aitkin Gobblers Monday.
Winning singles matches for Brainerd were Reah Williams, Krista Bjork, Morgan Steffen and Brittney Bostrom.
Doubles winners were Bjork-Alex Williamson, Alexa Wright-Jackie Thurlow, Bostrom-Steffen and Lauren Rud-Hayley Sinner.
