MOORHEAD - Kelly Rosenthal continued her hot play of late, scoring two goals, to lead the Brainerd Warriors girls' soccer team past Section 8-2A opponent Moorhead 3-0 Saturday.
Warriors keeper Cami Andersen also stood out in net, turning away 10 Spud shots, to record a the shutout victory.
Brainerd kicked off its offensive attack early as Madison Smith found the net unassisted at the 8-minute mark.
The goal was all the Warriors would need but the combination of Britta Nelson to Rosenthal contributed two insurance goals in the 35th minute of the first half and in the second half in the 43rd minute. Nelson ended the game with two assists.

"We finished out four games in a week and we were beat tired," Brainerd coach Steve Kimble said. "But the girls stuck it out, got a win and we are looking forward to wrapping up our conference season this week."
