LOCAL BRIEFS Crow Wing DFL office
schedules open house
The Crow Wing County DFL has opened an office for the duration of the campaign cycle. An open house is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
The office is at 1511 Northern Pacific Road in the northern Pacific Center in southeast Brainerd. The office phone number is 828-1109. Interested persons are encouraged to obtain lawn signs and literature for DFL candidates.

Teen Scene at YMCA set for Saturday for grades 5 and 6
The Brainerd Family YMCA will conduct its first Teen Scene of the school year on Saturday for young people in fifth and sixth grades. The activity will feature music, dodgeball, concession items and pizza.
Teen Scene is conducted from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at a cost of $3 per person. More information may be obtained by calling 829-4767.
