Loretta M. Buley
SARTELL -- Services were today at St. Francis Xavier Church, Sartell, for Loretta M. Buley, 71, of 94 4th Ave. N., Sartell, who died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at the St. Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Lauren Germann officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Loretta was born March 1, 1932, in Bemidji and was the daughter of Lewis and Dorothy Strowbridge. She graduated from Brainerd High School and married Thomas Buley on Nov. 15, 1952, in Oakland, Calif. The couple lived in Brainerd until moving to Sartell in 1961. She was a homemaker and worked for Marcella Piasecki Tax Service in Sartell for 20 years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church where she was past president of St. Monica's Christian Mothers and also was active in St. Francis Handicraft Mission Group "The Grannies."
Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Sartell; children and their spouses, Steven Buley of Sauk Rapids; Reed and Lana Buley of Wylie, Texas; Lynne and Richard Janson of Sartell; Christopher Buley of St. Cloud; brother, James (Helen) Strowbridge of Brainerd; brother-in-law, James (Rosemary) Buley of Brainerd; sister-in-laws, Patricia Kramer of Bloomington; and Mary Frances (Howard) Farris of California; and grandchildren, Jana, Justin, Leah, Melanie, Grant, Courtney and Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Loretta was devoted to her family and God. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
