Ricky A. Siegel
Ricky Allen Siegel, 41, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, in Effie.
He was born Aug. 14, 1959, in Minneapolis to LeRoy and Marion (Caughey) Siegel. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1977. He attended Brainerd Area Vocational Technical School and was currently enrolled at Central Lakes College. He was active in the Brainerd Park and Recreation baseball programs as a youth and participated in area amateur leagues including Legion, VFW and Fort Ripley baseball. Most recently he played for the Over 35 baseball league.
Survivors include his mother; a son, Matthew, Brainerd; and a sister, Julie Siegel, Normal, Ill.
His father; and grandparents, Preston and Martha Caughey, and Paul and Mary Jane Siegel, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church of Brainerd. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call an hour before the services Saturday at the church.
