CROSBY -- The Crosby-Ironton School Board on Monday selected four superintendent finalists.
Interviews are being scheduled with the finalists.
The finalists include Robert Osland of Williston, N.D.; Steven Rassier, Hettinger, N.D.; and Robert Bean of Chisago Lakes.
The name of the fourth finalist has not been released. Pat DeSutter of Anderson, DeSutter and Miller, a search firm hired to help C-I find a superintendent, said it was not the company's policy to release the name of the candidate until he or she is contacted and has agreed to the interview. The fourth person has not yet been contacted.
Scott Kile, chairman of the school board, also would not release any names, referring to the direction DeSutter gave him.
According to Minnesota statute, names of applicants are private unless the applicant is considered a finalist for a public position. A finalist is an individual who is selected to be interviewed by the appointing authority, in this case the school board, prior to selection.
Former superintendent Bill Makinen resigned in July.
