NISSWA -- A 23-year-old Nisswa woman was arrested on drug charges Tuesday after officers conducted a search warrant at her home and found chemicals used to make methamphetamine.
Jennifer Dueffert was charged Thursday with first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, first-degree conspiracy in a controlled substance crime and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Dueffert's next court hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28. She was released from Crow Wing County jail on her own recognizance.
About 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, officers from the Nisswa Police Department and the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division executed a search warrant at Dueffert's residence in the 20000 block of Towering Pines Road.
In the residence, chemicals used in the making of methamphetamine were found. A Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agent and the hazardous material disposal company Safety Clean were called in to assist with the cleanup.
