BLOOMINGTON -- Paced by Chad Brever and Isaac Landecker's fourth and fifth place finishes, the No. 1 ranked Class 1A Staples-Motley Cardinals boys' cross country team finished second at the Bloomington Jefferson Invitational Tuesday.
The Cardinals girls' team, who are also ranked first in Class 1A, were without top runner Brittany Brenny and finished third. They were led by Hannah Landecker's sixth place finish and time of 15:43.
