BUFFALO -- Dorothy L. Warnberg, 95, Buffalo, formerly of the Freedhem area, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Buffalo Hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1905, in Belle Prairie Township to Seth and Hulda (Anderson) Warnberg. She attended District No. 89 country school. In 1923, she moved to Minneapolis and worked as a housekeeper for private individuals and then at Stanford Hall on the University of Minnesota campus. In 1943, she moved to Hastings and worked as a notebook assembler until the early 1960s. She then moved to Cannon Falls and lived with her sister and worked as a home health aide until retiring in 1972. In 1984, she moved to St. Louis Park and lived with her sister, Ida, until moving together to Big Lake in 1995. She lived at Park View Health Care Center in Buffalo since December 2000. She was active in the Evangelical Free Church in St. Louis Park.
Survivors include a sister, Ida Nordlin, Big Lake.
Three brothers, Eugene, Roy and Arthur Warnberg, and a sister, Myrtle Nelson, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Covenant Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Steven Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Evangelical Free Church Cemetery in Freedhem.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Grace Covenant Church.
