GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- Michael Patrick Flynn, 51, Gulf Breeze, Fla., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at home.
He was born April 6, 1949, in Minneapolis to Alvin "Pat" and Jane (Kocina) Flynn. He attended St. Anthony Village High School. He served in the Army. After his discharge, he worked as a mechanic in the Minneapolis area. He later moved to Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Survivors include a son, Neil Flynn, Fridley; his father, Ideal Corners; three brothers, Raymond Flynn, Brooklyn Center, Steve Flynn, Maple Grove, and Scott Flynn, St. Anthony Village; two sisters, Judy Drigans, Kansas, and Teri Jo Flynn, Ideal Corners; and a special friend, Linda Duncan.
His mother died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church of Crosslake. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery of Camp Ripley.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
