In singles, Megan Lenz improved to 18-7, Angela Villella is 22-2 and Tricia Villella is 16-7. In doubles, Cori Lundmark is 19-6 and Kirstie Harmdierks 20-5.

Aitkin wins tournament
PINE CITY - Aitkin's Nicole Beneke, Anna Browning and Tori Sundholm took all-conference honors in singles as did the Gobblers' doubles team of Allie Carlson-Kaitlyn Davies in the Two Rivers Conference tournament Thursday.
The Pierz doubles team of Jayme Sczublewski-Erin Gritzmacher defeated Aitkin's Carlson-Davies 6-2, 6-2 for the championship and the only all-conference honors for Pierz. Carlson-Davies are 19-2 for the season.
Aitkin won the tournament with 29 points and Pierz was third. All-conference honors went to the top four singles players and the top four doubles teams.
In singles, Beneke was runner-up, losing the championship match to Shauna Jahnz of Pine City 6-4, 6-2. Browning and Sundholm qualified for the third-place match, which wasn't played as all team points went to Aitkin and dusk was approaching.
Pierz's Cassie Banick was 2-2 and received honorable mention all-conference.

St. Cloud Tech 4, Staples-Motley 3
STAPLES - Staples-Motley narrowly lost to St. Cloud Tech 4-3 Thursday.
The Cardinals almost swept all three doubles matches, but the No. 3 duo of Savanna Hill-Annie Gillespie lost a nail-biter 5-7, 7-5, 10-7.
Skye Coughlin-Emma Koskiniemi won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles and Caitlyn Robinson-Ashley Lisson took the No. 2 match 6-2, 7-6.
Mikayla Wing was the lone singles winner for the Cardinals, winning 6-4, 4-6, 12-10 at No. 3.

WADENA - Andrea Jensen, Macy Hartman and Paige Hartman won singles matches and almost helped Wadena-Deer Creek pull off its first win of the season but the Wolverines fell 4-3 to Parkers Prairie Thursday.
