Rotary selling roses to raise money for scholarships

The Brainerd Lakes Rotary is celebrating its annual scholarship fundraiser by taking orders for roses through Sept. 28. Choose from traditional red roses or give a multi-colored bunch. Roses are $15 a dozen and can be ordered from any morning Brainerd Lakes Sunrise Rotary member or at Crow Wing Power.

Roses will be available for pick up at SuperAmerica on Dellwood Drive in Baxter from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 8-9.

Proceeds will help local youth scholarships, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (a local Crow Wing County education project), Worldwide Polio Eradication, Camp Confidence cabin maintenance and other charitable activities.
