Welcome to the Brainerd lakes area. While this community is "growing" (are there any non-retail jobs coming?), please pat us on the back for our foresight in planning and construction. The lack of sidewalk or wide shoulders on newly repaved roads, the nauseating use of that fake rock and aluminum siding on buildings, the ever increasing presence of billboards and the deforestation. We sure should be proud. Ahhhh. "Progress." St. Cloud and Fargo would be so proud.
