LAKE SHORE - A 33-year-old Brainerd man was injured about 7 a.m. Saturday after two fishing boats collided on the north end of Gull Lake, the Cass County Sheriff's Department reported.

Eric Jobe was a passenger in a boat driven by Kirk Lingenfelter, 39, Nisswa. The two men were fishing on Gull Lake when their boat was struck by a boat driven by Matthew Hochmayr, 24, Breezy Point. Hochmayr apparently didn't see the other boat, the sheriff's department reported.

Jobe suffered a head injury and was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center and released.

Lingenfelter and Hochmayr were not injured.
