Dunphy playing for undefeated team
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Brainerd High School graduate Natalie Dunphy is playing for the Swarthmore College volleyball team which is unbeaten in Centennial Conference play.
The Phoenix won both matches against Lincoln and Gwynnedd Mercy in the Swarthmore Tournament Sept. 16. Dunphy had six kills against Lincoln and seven against Gwynnedd.
Bogenschutz, Stout win three matches
MENOMINIE, Wis. -- Brainerd High School graduate Laura Bogenschutz and the Wisconsin-Stout volleyball team won three matches over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Blue Devils beat St. Norbert and Finlandia University as Bogenschutz collected 54 set assists.
Stout defeated as Bogenschutz had 41 assists and eight kills.
Flyers defeat Warriors in JV tennis
The Little Falls Flyers defeated the Brainerd Warriors 7-2 in junior varsity tennis Monday.
Brainerd's wins were by Jeanette Jones in singles and by the doubles team of Kassy Dallmann-Annie Mitchell.
