Alex defeats BHS girls

BAXTER -- The Brainerd Warriors lost to Alexandria 4-1 in Central Lakes Conference girls' soccer Saturday.

Emilie Entrikin scored Brainerd's lone goal on a free kick at the 26-minute mark.

Kate Bjornson had a solid game in goal, stopping 19 shots.

"They were a little quicker, and their experience made the difference," Warriors coach George Kohan said. "We're there though. We're just a nanosecond away from being ahead."
