Brainerd falls to Willmar

WILLMAR - After starting the season with four straight wins, the best start in program history, the Brainerd boys' soccer team has struggled, dropping its past five games, including a 1-0 loss to Willmar on Saturday.

The only goal of the contest came in the tenth minute when Willmar snuck a shot past Warriors' goalkeeper Brian Sexton, who had eight saves on the day.

Brainerd managed just three shots on goal compared to Willmar's nine.
