20 years ago (1982)

A clinic dealing with the basics of babysitting is set for Oct. 2 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Teachers are all volunteers.

30 years ago (1972)

Part of the United Fund money to be raised in Brainerd will go to the therapeutic camp more commonly known as Camp Confidence.

40 years ago (1962)

Walter Gulbretson, chairman of the Crow Wing County Chapter American Red Cross, reports that donations in the current drive for funds have exceeded those in recent years. The current amount turned in is $2,404.

60 years ago (1942)

A South Dakotan of short duration is Mr. Ralph Squier, High School staff and the Brainerd Junior College faculty. Mr. Squier left for Brookings, S.D. to accept a position as physics teacher at the college there.

80 years ago (1922)
