Brainerd still perfect in conference play

WILLMAR - Emily Beltran scored a goal for the second straight game, but this one wasn't as crucial as the Brainerd Warriors knocked off the Willmar Cardinals 4-1 Tuesday to remain perfect in the Central Lakes Conference.

Brainerd's Madison Smith scored the first goal on an assist from Stacy Tetreault. Kellie Barnaby, Melissa Boggs and Beltran finished off the scoring.

Barnaby and Beltran each picked up assists and Brainerd keeper Cami Andersen tallied an assist and eight saves.
