CROSSLAKE -- The Crosslake sewer project has progressed more quickly on Crow Wing County State Aid Highway 66 because of the temporary road detour and has advanced to Daggett Bay Road Monday morning, reported Widseth Smith Nolting, architectural and engineering firm.

Area traffic can use a short detour around Crosslake City Hall (signs are posted) to proceed north/south along CSAH 66. The main detour is still in effect for heavy through-traffic, including trucks and tractor trailers.

There will be short periods of road closure on CSAH 66 this week to complete the connection of the force main north and south of the Daggett channel. After these periods, local traffic may resume travel and the contractor will begin restoration of CSAH 66.
