Staples-Motley boys, girls run to titles at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON -- The Staples-Motley Cardinals won the boys' and girls' competitions in the 31-team Princeton cross country invitational Saturday.

The No. 1-ranked Cardinal boys were led by Chad Brever's sixth-place finish. The Cardinals' Isaac Landecker's was ninth.

The second-ranked S-M girls' team might move up a spot as it defeated top-ranked New London-Spicer for the second time this year. Hannah Landecker finished 12th to lead the Cardinal girls.
