BELGRADE - Alex Leach rushed seven times for 74 yards and two touchdowns as the Pierz Pioneers defeated Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 42-0 Friday in Central Minnesota Conference football.
In its last two games Pierz has outscored its opponents 94-0 as the Pioneers defense recorded its second-straight shutout.
Matt Woitalla rushed for 94 yards on 18 carries and Aaron Schmidtbauer, Jimmy Hiemenz and Brad Kapsner all scored rushing touchdowns.
Scott Janson found Tyler Monson on an 18-yard touchdown pass, handing Pierz a 28-0 third-quarter lead.
Pierz outgained B-B-E 323-90. Jesse Hillyer finished with 10 tackles and a fumble recovery.
