Leeches, rainbow minnows, redtails, and nightcrawlers all are producing walleyes on Gull Lake in 14 to 24 feet of water during the day. Later in the evening, look shallower, in 6 to 14 feet of water. Minnows also are turning numbers of northern pike on Gull, Lake Edwards, and Round Lake. Anglers fishing from shore are finding plenty of sunfish and crappies at the dam on Gull Lake, Hole in the Day Bay, and the pier by Bar Harbor.
