Warrior girls snap losing streak
WILLMAR -- The Brainerd Warriors girls' soccer team snapped a 5-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over the Willmar Cardinals in Central Lakes Conference action Thursday.
Erin MacDonald scored three goals to help Brainerd to victory. The Warriors outshot the Cardinals 20-8 and shut the Cardinals out in the second half. The other Warrior goals were scored by Lizzy Hendricks, Jenny Beilke and Joyce Hendricks.
