Household cleaning start-up kits offered

Leaders of Evolving Area Development 2000 teamed up with the Brainerd Lutheran Social Service's HOPE Housing project, or Housing Options for Everyone, in purchasing and assembling household cleaning start-up kits.

The HOPE Housing Project presents one start-up kit to individuals who have been homeless and are moving into a new residence for the first time. The kit consists of a plastic bucket holding several cleaning solutions, window cleaner, toilet bowl brush and sponges.

Home Depot, Baxter, assisted in discounting the cost of cleaning supply items.
