Staples-Motley remains unbeaten

PARK RAPIDS -- The Adam Johnson-Tyler Frisk connection hooked up three times in the first half to help lead the Staples-Motley Cardinals to a 50-14 victory over Northern Lakes Conference foe Park Rapids Friday.

Frisk added a rushing touchdown to finish with four scores. He finished with 108 receiving yards and 46 yards rushing.

Adam Johnson finished with 132 yards on 8-of-15 passing. The junior quarterback also rushed for 120 yards.
