Shannon Smith and Allen Nelson were married Aug. 17, 2002, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Backus with Pastor Jeff Broom and Pastor Dwight Warden officiating.
Parents are Dale and Betty Nelson, Blackduck, and Dave and Joan Smith, Pine River.
They are attending Oak Hills Bible College.
The couple is at home in Bemidji.
