CINCINNATI -- Virginia Caroline Aiton, 74, Cincinnati, died Friday, June 30, 2000, in Cincinnati of cancer.
She was born in Minneapolis and also lived in St. Cloud and Brainerd until moving to San Diego 25 years ago. She worked nearly 50 years as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include a son, David Haegele Jr., Cincinnati; a stepdaughter, Jody Aiton, Lakewood, Colo.; a brother, Peter J. Nekola, Minneapolis; and a sister, Barbara J. Nekola, Minneapolis.
Her husband, John F. Aiton, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sept. 30 at Evergreen Cemetery of Brainerd.
