United Way chili cook-off planned

The United Way chili cook-off will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Westgate Mall in Baxter. The public can sample a variety of chili recipes and help United Way kick off this year's fundraising campaign as they "Shoot for the Moon" to make 2009 the best campaign year.

Just $5 allows people to cast their vote for the community choice winner of the best chili recipe, which will be announced at 1 p.m.

United Way of Crow Wing and Southern Cass Counties works to advance the common good and create opportunities for a good life for all through education, income and health.
