The 34th annual Nisswa Fall Festival on Saturday featured fun for kids of all ages, including a pumpkin-carving contest and pumpkin-seed spitting contest, along with children's games and family hay rides.
The event was held in conjunction with the second annual Smokin' Hot BBQ contest.

Smokin' Hot BBQ contest: Crow River BBQ Crew, Mike Crom, first place; Monkey's Uncle BBQ, Michael Felt, second place; Northwoods Smoke of Fun, Jerry Brezinka, third place; and Fryin' Lions, Keith Clarke, most popular.
