One dies in rollover near LF
Joshua Dane Lund, 22, Farmington, was driving northbound on Highway 10 when he went into the median, overcorrected and rolled his pickup, the State Patrol reported.
Patricia Lynn Beach, 25, Baxter, was sentenced for two counts of felony fleeing a peace officer to 120 days jail, placed on three years supervised probation and fined $50.

With schools back in session it's worth reminding ourselves of a sobering fact: America's average public school teacher is paid $46,000 a year. Largely because of the persistent efforts of teachers unions, that number is much higher in real terms than it was two decades ago.
