Raider winning streak snapped

THIEF RIVER FALLS -- Inconsistency turned into a loss for the Central Lakes College Raiders volleyball team Wednesday.

The Raiders dropped a North Division match to Northland Community and Technical College 30-24, 22-30, 30-23, 30-24 to end a four-game winning streak.

"We were just inconsistent," said Raider coach Jane Peterson. "We blocked really well but we're struggling to be consistent."

Valori Diedrich recorded 15 kills and three blocks. Jenny Skiba added 13 and Jessica Melheim had 12 kills. Setter Abby Leach finished with 46 set assists.
